Position Overview

We recognize how important it is to give customers great service, from the moment they enter the store until the final transaction takes place at checkout. If you enjoy interacting with and assisting others, you could be a Nell's Customer Service Representative!

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide friendly and helpful customer service on the sales floor, answering questions and directing customers to aisles.

Responsibilities

  • Start time 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday - will need to work on holidays)
  • General Office Duties - answering multi-line phones, data entry, filing, faxing,inter-office mail and copying.

  • Looking up product codes for stores.

  • Mailing information material - ads, price sheets, and specials.

  • Arranging pickups for stores.

  • Assist customer with Product Price Checking.

  • Assisting the Sales Department with any issues.

  • Setting up late and early store deliveries.

  • Maintain and run GCT 100 reports.

  • Adding or removing items for shipment or orders

  • Tag requests and making arrangements for customer deliveries

  • Assist with training of new Customer Service and Parcel Service Representatives.

  • Special Projects and all other duties assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • One to three (1-3) months' related experience and/or training.
  • Able to read and interpret manuals, documents and memos
  • Able to communicate with customers and co-workers
  • Math skills: able to calculate figures and to apply common sense problem solving
  • Excellent customer service skills; must be outgoing and excited about serving our customers
  • Able to work with others and independently in order to complete tasks as directed by the management staff
  • Motivated to display exceptional quality of work; must be detail-oriented
