Inventory Auditor

Hansen Distribution Group is a Foodservice and Retail distribution company, headquartered in Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii. Hansen services customers statewide from its network of 5 warehouse facilities on four islands, Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai. As the Inventory Control Representative, you will be responsible for performing duties associated with the accuracy of the inventory.  Insures all products and incoming pallets meet standards, documenting any discrepancies and recording all exceptions.  Verifies and researches product short sheets, customer returns/damaged products, products not on truck, etc.

• Maintains an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting.
• Researches inventory issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages, damages, product expiration dates , driver/customer returns, not on truck, etc.
• Identifies and monitors high volume and high dollar items during shipping, cycle counting process
• Sets up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving.
• Recognizes potential inventory hazards including, but not limited to storage of raw, damaged, closed dated products
• Performs all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks, not specifically mentioned herein
• Audit pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed.
• Reviews and releases pallets on hold; negative pallets
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year experience in distribution, logistics, warehouse
• Ability to work independently, operate various material handling machines, and operate software systems needed to complete responsibilities
• Ability to demonstrate basic math and PC skills
